Annual - Congregational Meeting, Sunday, January 29th, 10:30am following worship
Be sure you plan on attending! One item of business will be to vote on approving changes to the LOTM Constitution and By-laws. The 2022 ELCA Churchwide Assembly approved several changes to the Model Constitution for Congregations. It is mandatory that each congregation incorporates these changes, and a summary of the changes is provided here. We will also be taking this opportunity to update committee names in our by-laws, per this plan of action.

The Congregation Council has approved providing these changes to the congregation to be voted on at the Annual Meeting. A copy of the entire constitution as it is tracked during these changes is available here.

Monthly

Church Council and Church Leaders Meeting - Tuesday, January 13th, 5:30pm. Access monthly Meeting Minutes. To join using Zoom, contact Craig Bolt or Pastor Kate through the church office at 970-468-6809 or lotm@lordofthemountains.org.

Outreach - Second Offering Sunday (SOS) - during each month LOTM supports a deserving non-profit. Our recipient for November was the Water Wells for Rural Cambodians Project, represented by Karen and Ben Little. Donations are still being accepted in December.

Families in rural Cambodia do not have clean, clear drinking water. Each well, which costs from $250 - $290, sustains a family (average 4 people) in their backyard as well as an average of 10 neighbors, for an average of  644 people served by the 46 wells LOTM has provided. The need is still enormous - help us make clean water possible for more deserving people.

In our Dec. 4 worship service, watch a  2 minute video clip of Patti DiVita, former member of LOTM, give us a virtual tour of the 20 wells she has funded.

To help this worthy cause, choose your donation method on our Giving webpage and indicate ‘'November SOS’" or ‘"Cambodian Wells"  in the memo field of checks, Paypal, Zelle, or with a note in a cash envelope.
