Confirmation is a two-year program for middle school students led by our pastor and church volunteers who help youth affirm for themselves the promises that their parents, sponsors and congregation made for them at their baptism.
At their affirmation of baptism ceremony, confirmands are asked to make this promise for themselves: “…to live among God’s faithful people, to hear the word of God and share in the Lord’s Supper, to proclaim the good news of God in Christ through word and deed, to serve all people, following the example of Jesus, and to strive for justice and peace in all the earth.”
Engaging Bible studies, hands-on projects, mission trips, games and fun are all part of the program.
Contact our pastor through the church office if you have teenage children in middle school who would like to join the Confirmation program.
